9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance – Service Project – Sparks

In partnership with the City of Sparks and the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation, Nevada Volunteers is sponsoring a day of service to that brings together AmeriCorps members and community volunteers who step up in service to mark the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks for the September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance. Participants will tackle an invasive species removal project along the Regional Bike path on the east side of the Golden Eagle Regional Park to help to make the path more enjoyable and accessible to all.
