Nuts and Bolts 2.0–Treat Yourself! Self Care for Volunteer Managers

The Nuts and Bolts 2.0 volunteer engagement training series brings the experience of a nationally-recognized expert to you! This series is designed for volunteer coordinators, staff who engage volunteers, or those who manage national service members.
The training series will be offered in Elko, Las Vegas, Mesquite, Reno, and Winnemucca, and will be broadcast to a classroom of you and your peers to maximize learning and networking among volunteer engagers.
Register for all 5 training sessions for a total of $60 or for individual sessions at $15 each.
Session Description
As the airline saying goes “put your mask on before helping others.” This couldn’t be more true for volunteer management professionals. But, why do we continue to put others’ needs before ours?
In this webinar, researcher and VolunteerPro member, Melissa Heinlein will share the results of her recent national study of burnout in volunteer resource managers. Tobi Johnson, founder of VolunteerPro, will also discuss best practices for setting professional boundaries and reducing stress, based on research and informed by her years of experience working with high-risk populations.
