Submit a Nomination for the Governor’s Points of Light Awards!

The Governor’s Points of Light Awards recognize Nevadans for their dedication, innovation, and leadership in making Nevada a better place to live through volunteerism. It is the highest honor bestowed by Nevada Volunteers and the State. Its purpose is to inspire individuals to make a positive impact in the lives of people who need it and in places where it can make a difference.
Nevada Volunteers is seeking nominations for the 2014 Governor’s Points of Light Awards in the six service areas: individuals from northern, southern, and rural Nevada; nonprofit and community organizations; volunteer manager; and corporate and business volunteer programs.
Deadline to submit a nomination is May 30, 2014 by 5pmPST.
Recipients and finalists will be honored at an awards luncheon on September 18, 2014 at Bally’s in Las Vegas.
